Mr. Scholes is one of the founders of the Firm.  From his role of Director of Production, he has expanded production to become one of the most efficient production teams in the local area.  Coordinating the use of computer-aided drafting along with computer-aided engineering has helped the production staff of the Firm to design highly efficient structures very quickly.

Some of Mr. Scholes specialties include seismic design, forensic/investigative engineering, and value engineering.  In 1994, he was on the Catastrophe Response Team formed by Safeco Insurance Company to serve areas affected by the Northridge, California earthquake.  In 1989, he was on the Response Team to serve areas affected by the Lomo Prieta, San Francisco earthquake.  In 1990, as part of the Catastrophe Response Team, he served areas hit by the Sierra Madre, Southern California earthquake.
